How do I connect to Blackhole?

Well, what you need is a way to connect. Some kind of secure shell (SSH) is the best way to tap into Blackhole. Tera Term is a common program that does what we want. Below is a picture of how you should configure your connection.

From there, simply hit OK, and the shell will prompt you for your username and password. If you do not know what these are, contact the admin. After entering in your username and password, hit OK again. Finally, you should see a confirmation that looks something like this, with your username in place of "silent_bob":
